Bio

Michelle McKenzie is a highly experienced educator, executive trainer, and leadership coach with a career spanning over 30 years. She is a Co-Director of the Centre for Women, Entrepreneurship and Youth at Nova Business School Africa. Her work has focused on teaching, business skills development, professional and executive training, and entrepreneurship, with a particular emphasis on empowering women leaders and entrepreneurs. She has successfully designed and facilitated impactful programmes across the UK and West Africa, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of diverse professional audiences.

Michelle’s extensive international experience includes collaborations with prominent institutions such as the African Development Bank (AfDB), Africa Guarantee Fund (AGF), and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). She has led significant consulting and training engagements across Ghana, Nigeria, and the UK, delivering high-impact workshops and coaching interventions centered on leadership, personal growth, business sustainability, and inclusive entrepreneurship.

With deep expertise in executive education, business development, coaching, gender equity, and diversity and inclusion, Michelle is committed to building capacity in both established and emerging leaders. Her background in the creative industries also informs her passion for using visual storytelling and digital platforms to make learning more accessible. Through her work, she continues to champion inclusive, innovative, and sustainable development for entrepreneurs and underrepresented communities.
