Dr. Douglas W.S. Renwick is Associate Professor of Sustainable Work at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom, and a Senior Research Fellow at Rennes School of Business, France. He is a globally recognized scholar in sustainable workforce management, with a particular focus on green human resource management (HRM), green values and organizational culture, sustainable jobs, and employee environmental behavior. With over 115 academic and practitioner contributions—including 38 journal articles, 7 books, and more than 40 conference and policy papers—Dr. Renwick’s work is widely cited and used to inform policy at both the United Nations and the UK and German governments. He is ranked among the top 2% of global scientists by Scopus/Elsevier and in the top 1% globally in HRM by Scholar GPS. He serves on editorial boards of leading journals including The International Journal of HRM, Employee Relations, and the German Journal of HRM, and is an invited Academic Council Member for the Harvard Business Review. His work has garnered numerous accolades, including awards from Emerald Publishing for his pioneering work in green HRM.
