Chief Alhassan Andani is one of Africa’s most respected business leaders with over two decades of executive experience in banking, finance, and strategic leadership. He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of LVSafrica Limited and served as Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank Ghana for 14 years. Prior to that, he was Deputy Managing Director and Executive Director at Barclays Bank Ghana.
Renowned for his vision and influence across sectors, Chief Andani brings to Nova a rare blend of boardroom wisdom, pan-African business insight, and a strong commitment to nation-building. He serves on the boards of several leading institutions including Goldfields Group South Africa, Goldfields Abosso Ghana Ltd, Goldfields Tarkwa Ghana Ltd, Madina Institute of Science & Technology, and Accra Hearts of Oak Football Club. He also chairs the CEO Advisory on SDGs to the President of Ghana, CSIR–Plus Ltd, and the Advisory Board of CSIR–SARI Nyankpala, Tamale.
His contributions to corporate governance and finance have earned him multiple honours, including the prestigious Millennium Excellence Awards’ Financial Personality of the Decade, Marketing Man of the Year by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), and Honorary Fellowships from the Chartered Institute of Banking, Institute of Directors Ghana, and the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
Chief Andani holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance, an International Management Certificate from INSEAD, France, and is an alumnus of the Strategic Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School. He also holds a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Ghana, Legon.
