Professor Godfred A. Bokpin is a distinguished academic and researcher with expertise in the intersection of accounting, finance, and economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from Osaka University, Japan, an MPhil in Finance, and a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Ghana. As a macroeconomist with a strong focus on digitalization and climate change, his research spans public and private sector finance, financial systems analysis, and economic policy. With over 60 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals, book chapters, edited volumes and an h-index of 17 with more than 1,000 citations, his work has gained recognition from global institutions, including the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. He has consulted for organizations such as the Ministry of Finance Ghana, Bank of Ghana, African Development Bank, and the United Nations.
