Bio

Prof. Nnamdi O. Madichie is an internationally recognized scholar, and research fellow with extensive academic and advisory experience spanning Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. He currently serves as Professor of Marketing & Entrepreneurship at Unizik Business School, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria, and Research Fellow at the Bloomsbury Institute, London. He has previously held faculty roles at the University of Kigali (Rwanda), University of Sharjah and Canadian University of Dubai (UAE), and the University of East London (UK). He is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at GIBS, University of Pretoria.

With a distinguished academic career, Dr. Madichie has made significant contributions at the intersection of marketing, entrepreneurship, and international business – particularly in the context of indigenous and women-led enterprises in Africa and the Middle East. His research has shed light on the role of digital transformation, creative industries, and public policy in advancing sustainable entrepreneurship. He is a prolific author and editor, having contributed to books and journals on informal sector entrepreneurship, sustainability, and African business development.

Prof. Madichie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), Fellow Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). He sits on the editorial boards of several prestigious journals including Management Decision, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, and International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
