Bio

Dr. Anteneh Tegegn Tamerat is an Ethiopian business leader, scholar-practitioner, trainer, and mentor with over 20 years of experience across FMCG, automotive retail and distribution, mobility solutions, manufacturing, services, and the airline industry.

He holds a PhD in Business Leadership and an MA in Human Resource Management from Addis Ababa University, as well as a BA in Management from Arba Minch University. He has also completed executive development programmes at the University of Stellenbosch and China Europe International Business School.

Dr. Anteneh is currently Managing Director of Antra Business Group and Velora Trading, focused on management consulting, trading solutions, growth, and transformation. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director of Inchcape Djibouti, Managing Director and HR Director for Inchcape Africa, Human Resources Director at Inchcape Ethiopia, and Human Resources Director at Coca-Cola East Africa Bottling in Ethiopia.

As Managing Director at Inchcape, he led Red Sea Automotive and Inchcape Djibouti Automotive, overseeing strategy, commercial growth, financial performance, business development, organisational transformation, systems implementation, and market expansion. He also led greenfield business development, including entity formation, property acquisition, value-chain development, operational readiness, and product launch.

His executive experience includes work with major global brands and partners such as Coca-Cola, Toyota, Suzuki, BYD, New Holland, Komatsu, Changan, and Case. He has led initiatives in strategy execution, M&A integration, organisational design, people strategy, cultural transformation, ERP implementation, route-to-market development, stakeholder management, and performance improvement.

Dr. Anteneh has also contributed to academia and executive education through public lectures, training, mentoring, keynote sessions, and curriculum development. He has served as a guest lecturer at Addis Ababa University and has spoken at major platforms including the African Union. He has also served on the boards of the Ethiopian Employers Federation and the Society of Human Resource Management in Ethiopia.

His work combines executive leadership, academic grounding, governance experience, financial discipline, and practical transformation capability across complex African business environments.
