Dr. Temi Abimbola is a distinguished scholar, strategist, and transformation expert with over 25 years of experience across academia, executive advisory, institutional reform, marketing strategy, foresight and scenario planning, business process design, and collaborative implementation.
A British-Nigerian scholar-practitioner, Dr. Abimbola has worked extensively with senior management teams, non-executive directors, boards, public sector institutions, private sector organizations, and development finance institutions across the UK, Africa, Europe, and beyond. Her work combines rigorous academic insight with practical experience in policy intervention, organizational transformation, institutional capacity building, and high-stakes advisory engagements.
Dr. Abimbola was a tenured Associate Professor at Warwick Business School for more than five years. Prior to this, she served as Senior Lecturer at Birmingham City University Business School, formerly UCE Business School. She also spent several years at the African Development Bank, including nine years as Lead Advisor to the First Vice President and later the Senior Vice President. During this period, she headed the Transformation Management Team Secretariat and played a major role in organizational transformation and business process optimization initiatives.
Her core areas of expertise include strategic transformation, private sector financing of infrastructure operations, project design, institutional reforms, organizational structuring, marketing strategy, entrepreneurial orientation, born-global start-ups, and organizational identity.
