Bio

Dr. Esi Sey is a seasoned organization development facilitator and leadership coach with more than 24 years of experience across country-level, regional, and international organizations. She has designed and led transformational interventions—ranging from strategy development and facilitation to culture-change programs—helping private-sector and civil-society teams build the leadership competencies required to achieve strategic goals and deliver outstanding client experiences. Known for her signature blend of experiential learning, fun-filled activities, and deep reflective practice, Dr. Sey empowers leaders to adopt humanistic mindsets and more cohesive, strategic ways of engaging their stakeholders.

Her recent tenure as Chief of Party for the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center in Accra saw her spearhead a pan-West African youth leadership and networking programme, nurturing the next generation of business, social-enterprise, and public-sector leaders in nine countries. Earlier in her career she served as Director of the Organization Capacity Building Programme at Ibis West Africa, Chief of Operations at the Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG–Ghana), and as an independent consultant. Beyond her professional work, Dr. Sey leads her local church’s youth ministry and enjoys crafting healthy snacks, prose, and poetry.
